Sami Grisafe’s second album, ATLANTIS, is a collaboration with LA-based Shannon Nicole and Chicago-based Jaclyn Rada.

ATLANTIS, is refreshingly diverse, receiving 6 Grammy pre-nominations and has a few Grammy Award winning collaborators associated with it such as blues artist Sugar Blue (Rolling Stones) and producer Ricciano Lumpkins (TLC, P.O.D., Mya). The moving title song “Atlantis” is a duet, which Sami performs with LA-based former Universal Republic recording artist Shannon Nicole. Her upbeat, super catchy single, “Hooky (in Chicago),” is built on a lifting reggae groove that gently dissuades you from being cooped up at work on a beautiful day.

Produced by Kathy Kuras and Sami Grisafe for Vicious Muse and Ricianno Lumpkins for Vet Boi Music Group. Mastered by Jerry Flowers for Audio 7 (Atlanta).

Sami Grisafe performed the National Anthem prior to taking the field and winning the gold medal at the 2013 IFAF Women’s World Championship game. The Huffington Post called her performance  “…one of the most inspiring versions of the Star-Spangled Banner we’ve ever heard.”  Sami Grisafe has recently released both a single and official music video based on her acclaimed performance of the national anthem at the 2013 IFAF Women’s World Championship.

Produced by Kathy Kuras for Vicious Muse.

Sami Grisafe’s first album, Wick on Wax, was recorded with her first band The Wick. The album is raw, as it was never mixed or mastered. Sami found a band two weeks prior to the recording of the album. They rehearsed Sami’s songs a total of 3 times before recording. While the production is far from polished, the heartbeat of each song is prevalent and filled with life. Click image below to purchase Sami’s 13-track freshman album.
